Welwyn Tennis Club commissioned Covair to combat winter weather affecting their playing season, when Hertfordshire’s unpredictable conditions left courts unusable for extended periods and disrupted both recreational play and competitive programmes.

 

The club wanted to offer members consistency regardless of the calendar. The resulting 37.5m x 30.8m Seasonal Air Dome ensures members enjoy uninterrupted court access, supporting both recreational play and competitive programmes through winter. The dome has strengthened the club’s year-round offering, maintaining the playing routines and competitive structures that keep members engaged and the club thriving throughout all seasons.
