David Lloyd Peterborough needed to combat the winter conditions affecting their courts, where cold temperatures and persistent rain were limiting member access and reducing court utilisation during the colder months. The club recognised an opportunity to differentiate their offering by providing guaranteed winter tennis in an area with limited alternative options.

 

Covair delivered two Seasonal Air Domes totalling 36.29m x 37.8m that shield players from wind and rain, dramatically improving the winter tennis experience. The substantial covered space allows their members greater access to tennis throughout the year, supporting both recreational play and the club’s structured coaching programmes during seasons when outdoor facilities would otherwise be impractical.
