Belfast Boat Club wanted to diversify their sporting facilities and provide members with year-round tennis access despite Northern Ireland’s challenging winter weather. Known primarily for their rowing heritage, the club saw tennis as an opportunity to broaden their appeal and offer members more reasons to visit throughout the year.

 

Covair’s substantial 61.8m x 35m Seasonal Air Dome now shields their courts from the wind and rain that characterises Belfast winters, creating a welcoming environment that has significantly boosted winter membership engagement. The dome’s generous footprint accommodates multiple courts, enabling the club to run coaching programmes, social tennis, and competitive matches simultaneously regardless of conditions outside.
