Bangor University commissioned Covair to create a permanent multi-use covered facility that could support their diverse sporting and educational programmes throughout the academic year. The Welsh university needed a substantial versatile space capable of accommodating various activities regardless of the challenging North Wales weather that can disrupt outdoor provision for extended periods.

 

Our impressive 23m x 72m Permanent Air Dome delivers a substantial covered environment where students can engage in sport, recreation, and physical education year-round. The generous dimensions support everything from team sports through to fitness activities and university events, ensuring Bangor can deliver consistent provision for their student body whilst maximising the utility of their campus facilities regardless of seasonal conditions.
