Kings College approached Covair to provide a permanent multi-use covered facility that could enhance their students’ sporting and recreational opportunities throughout the academic year. The Taunton school sought a versatile covered space that could accommodate physical education, team sports, and extracurricular activities regardless of Somerset’s variable weather conditions.

 

Our 36m x 20.5m Permanent Air Dome provides a valuable covered environment where students can engage in activity year-round without weather-related disruptions. The permanent structure enables the college to deliver consistent PE provision, support team training schedules, and run after-school programmes with confidence, ensuring students benefit from reliable access to physical activity throughout the academic calendar.
