David Lloyd Chigwell sought to enhance their facility with guaranteed winter tennis, recognising that their Essex membership expected year-round access to quality courts regardless of weather conditions. The club’s outdoor facilities, whilst excellent in summer, needed protection to maintain their appeal and utility through the colder months.

 

Covair’s 35.05m x 33.18m Seasonal Air Dome installation ensures members enjoy consistent court availability, supporting both casual play and structured coaching programmes throughout winter. The dome has strengthened the club’s tennis community, providing a focal point for winter activity and maintaining the social connections that might otherwise fade when outdoor play becomes impractical.
